Here’s a quick and easy recipe that anyone can make.
Do you ever wonder how they make those little cookies the are super thin and are often served with ice-cream
Heat 2 tablespoons sugar, 2 tablespoons corn syrup and 4 tablespoons butter until melted and boiling. Take off the heat and add 1 teaspoon brandy (I used rum) and 1/4 cup flour. Mix until smooth.
Then on a silpat lined baking tray, drop one teaspoon of the mix. Leave plenty of room between them because THEY WILL SPREAD.
Bake at 350 for about 5 minutes until nice and brown.
Shape immediately. I waited for around 1-2 minutes for mine to cool and they were already hard and I had to serve them whole. No problem,. They still tasted great.
Serve with ice-cream or whatever dessert you want to liven up.
